FAO

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) assists developing countries and countries with economies in transition to modernize and improve agriculture, forestry and fisheries practices and ensure good nutrition for all. FAO has developed guidelines for the management of introduced species. FAO also developed the
International Portal on Food Safety, Animal and Plant Health to provide a single source of reference for official information across the sectors of food safety, animal and plant health and support the sanitary and phytosanitary (SPS) agreements.
