Welcome to the online forum on invasive alien species! 

As you know, the forum has two threads:

- Thread #1: Discussions on annexes I to VI of decision 15/27 on Invasive Alien Species; and
- Thread #2: Discussions on experiences on horizon scanning monitoring and management in the context of emerging infectious diseases and invasive alien species.

For discussions under thread #1 (annexes), we would like to kindly invite you to use the various subsections that are there, which will assist the Secretariat and us in correctly summarizing and contextualizing your interventions at the end. Therefore, if you have general comments or observations on the annexes, please use the relevant section “general discussion on annexes”. On the other hand, if you would like to comment on a specific annex, then please make your intervention under the respective annex section.

To facilitate discussions, we have prepared a set of guiding questions for each of the threads, and we encourage you to consider them when making your interventions. However, please note that comments that are not responding to any of the guiding questions are also welcome.
Finally, we would like to encourage you to actively participate on the forum, starting today, as that would allow us to make the most of the time that we have for these discussions.
