Further to notification 2022-068, a webinar on the monitoring framework for the post-2020 global biodiversity framework was held on 10 November 2022. Two sessions were organized to accommodate participants in different time zones. Registration details were provided in the notification.

About the event

This webinar was convened by the Chair of the Subsidiary Body on Scientific, Technical and Technological Advice (SBSTTA) and the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity, in collaboration with the Co-chairs of the Open-ended Working Group on the Post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework.

The purpose of the webinar was to inform Parties and relevant stakeholders about the outcomes of the intersessional work, since the second part of the twenty-fourth meeting of SBSTTA, held in Geneva, in March 2022, so that it could help them prepare for their negotiations on the post-2020 global biodiversity framework at the fifth meeting of the Open-ended Working Group and their deliberations on the monitoring framework for the post-2020 global biodiversity framework during the second part of the fifteenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties.
