In this workshop, the national progress of the Economics of Ecosystems and Biodiversity in China will be introduced. Meanwhile, the preliminary results of two pilot studies for economics valuation at local level and one for poverty reduction at community level in China will be shown respectively. The objective of these pilot studies is to provide experience and good practice for how to mainstreaming biodiversity into social and economics at local level.
