This join (IUCN-SCBD) Side Event expects to present experiences and lessons learnt – as well as key resources – for a practical implementation of ABS and the Nagoya Protocol, including GEF National and Regional Projects, Check-Points, Materials and tools. It is expected the participation of several interested in this theme looking for a better integration of actors coming from the private and business sector, indigenous peoples and local communities, and other governmental sectors (such as agriculture, intellectual property, among others).
