Tenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP 10)

The event will present the overall findings of a global research project on "Protecting Community Rights over Traditional Knowledge: Implications of customary laws and practices". Case studies from Peru, China, India & Kenya will be presented in more detail, including work on community biocultural protocols, registers and products. 2-3 short films will be shown. Lessons for the International ABS Protocol will be identified.
