Tenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP 10)

The event will present information on the Capacity Building project for Environmental Funds (EFs) led by RedLAC - the Latin American and Caribbean Network of Environmental Funds. RedLAC will present the new initiative, which has the main goal of strengthening EFs to implement innovative and sustainable financial mechanisms to bring additional resources to biodiversity conservation. The project promotes south-south collaboration among EFs from LAC region and Africa, improving the exchange of good practices and leveraging innovation and knowledge transfer among funds. The event intends to congregate environmental funds from other regions to exchange experiences and to discuss on how to strengthen their capacities through a focused networking.
