Global Community Celebrates the International Day for Biological Diversity in Montreal and around the World.

Biodiversity loss will accelerate as a result of climate change, but if we act now to conserve and sustainably use the resources of our planet – biodiversity can be our best defense against the impacts of climate change. Enhanced cooperation between the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) and the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) is crucial for this project.
