As set out in decision VIII/13, options for resource mobilization including innovative financial mechanisms and a draft strategy for resource mobilization will be first considered by the Ad Hoc Open-ended Working Group on Review of Implementation of the Convention to be held in July 2007, and then by the ninth meeting of the Conference of the Parties. In order to facilitate timely preparation of relevant documentation, I would greatly appreciate receiving your submission in this regard by 15 December 2006.
