As you are aware, the tenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP 10) held in Nagoya, Japan, requested Parties, through its decision X/2 to “..review, and as appropriate update and revise, their national biodiversity strategies and action plans, in line with the Strategic Plan and the guidance adopted in decision IX/9, including by integrating their national targets into their national biodiversity strategies and action plans….. ”.
