The Secretariat has taken a number of measures to fulfil its role as the focal point for the observance of the International Year of Biodiversity (IYB) in 2010. As part of this, I am pleased to inform you that the Implementation Strategy for the International Year of Biodiversity is now available in English on the Secretariat’s website and can be downloaded at: http://www.cbd.int/iyb/iyb-2010-strategy-final-en.pdf. The remaining versions in the five official languages of the United Nations will be made available shortly.
