This workshop was organized by the Secretariat of the Convention in collaboration with the government of Trinidad and Tobago, the Cropper Foundation, the Caribbean Community Secretariat (CARICOM), and the Caribbean Natural Resources Institute (CANARI). The Workshop was held in parallel with the Capacity-Development Workshop for the Caribbean Region on communication, education and public awareness and media relations held in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, from 3 – 6 November 2008.
