GIBI is a global community for dialogue aimed at conserving biodiversity, promoting its awareness and sustainable use, sharing opportunities and success stories in biodiversity and related sectors. GIBI is also intended to speed up the implementation of Aichi Biodiversity Target 1: Biodiversity awareness and its four goals. As we are celebrating the United Nations Decade on Biodiversity 2011-2020, GIBI came in to encourage youth in developing countries to understand the value of biodiversity and be the first to create its awareness in their community and share success and challenges in biodiversity with the global community.
