The CBC came into being with notification issued by the University authorities on 24 December, 2009 to undertake advance research and studies in the field of biological and environmental aspects. Establishment of CBC at the beginning of 2010 is a landmark in the history of Pakistan, since United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) declared 2010 as International Year of Biodiversity. The Director of CBC, Dr. Raza Bhatti has been nominated as a Focal Person for IYB by the Higher Education Commission to the Ministry of Environment, Government of Pakistan. This task includes mobilizing and organizing various types of celebrations for the International Year of Biodiversity in all the universities of Pakistan.

HPO (Houbara Protection Organization) is a non-profitable, non-political, non-ethnical, non-governmental registered organization. HPO has been working in Balochistan province since 2005 on self help basis in the field of Environment, Community Development.

The International Center for Integrated Mountain Development, ICIMOD, is a regional intergovernmental learning and knowledge sharing centre serving the eight regional member countries of the Hindu Kush Himalayas – Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, India, Myanmar, Nepal, and Pakistan – and based in Kathmandu, Nepal. The mission of the center is to enable and facilitate the equitable and sustainable well-being of the people of the Hindu Kush-Himalayas by supporting sustainable mountain development through active regional cooperation. ICIMOD, therefore, aims to assist mountain people to understand global environmental and socio-economic changes, adapt to them, and make the most of new opportunities, while addressing upstream-downstream issues.

New World Hope Organization (NWHO) is an internationally recognized non-profit, non-governmental, non-religious & non-political humanitarian assistance and environmental preservation organization. New World Hope Organization is Registered with the Government of Pakistan under Societies Registration Act. XXI of 1860.

Founded in 1992, “Wilderness Pakistan” is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting Adventure Sports and educating people of Environment Conservation. Inspired by nature, our programs include Bird Watching, Hiking, Trekking, Camping, Mountaineering, Rafting, and Mountain Biking etc. We have more than 6400 members and volunteers and the majority consists of students. We have been participating in outdoor /educational activities in the Black Forest, Alps Germany, Netherlands, Colorado, Yellowstone, Arches, Wyoming and Grand Teton National Parks of USA.
