The IUCN “The Time for Biodiversity Business” is a document that gathers 22 business case studies which showcases how commercial enterprises from diverse industries can generate profits via activities which conserve biodiversity, use biological resources sustainably and share the benefits arising from this use equitably. It argues that biodiversity conservation is a viable business model that has the potential to attract more private capital investments. The document also features viewpoints of experts on key issues related to the development of biodiversity business, complementing the case studies highlighted in the publication. |
