Meeting Information

In accordance with the eighth meeting of the Conference of the Parties, the Subsidiary Body will:

Undertake in-depth reviews of the Application of the ecosystem approach and the implementation of the Global Strategy for Plant Conservation.
Discuss strategic issues for evaluating progress or supporting implementation of the Convention, such as the Millennium Ecosystem Assessment, the second edition of the Global Biodiversity Outlook.
Analyze scientific and technical issues of relevance to the implementation of the 2010 target, particularly those related to climate change and the sustainable use of biodiversity.
