Full and effective participation of Indigenous Peoples through the various PoW like PoWIB under the CBD can only improve and facilitate the successful implementation of PoWIB.

Formalizing indigenous representatives in the global and regional coordination mechanisms would be very useful to our work and having financial support to carry out the various tasks, programmes, and projects.  Our organization receives a lot of useful information through the GLISPA network and we look forward to it’s continuation and expansion.  The International Indigenous Forum on Biodiversity (IIFB) is ready and willing to collaborate and work closely with GLISPA on the PoWIB.
