POWIB upstream and downstream interventions
[#1017]
It is important to translate POWIB activities into concrete and tangible outputs on the ground. These should be supported by upstream policy interventions that aim at mainstreaming biodiversity conservation into national development and sectoral planning processes. POWIB also has the potential to facilitate regional and sub –regional collaboration on joint initiatives and activities similar to what has been achieved to date through mechanisms such as the Micronesian Challenge and others.
