About the logo
The logo uses the colours of the UN DPI campaign for the post-2015 development agenda, and also employs the “handprint” concept, which has been increasingly used to express a positive vision of action in support of sustainable development. The dark green colour represents biodiversity (same green as the CBD logo), and the other colours represent the 3 dimensions of sustainable development: economic, social and environmental. The hands are those of present and future generations, and they are also the hands that will bring positive change to our planet.
