Trinidad and Tobago

The Environmental Management Authority (EMA) held a symposium and exhibition in recognition of this year’s International Day for Biological Diversity. The symposium’s focus was on the ever changing climate and this and other factors’ roles in the disappearance of habitats and species. The exhibition was entitled, “Vanishing Species – State of Unknowing.” The exhibit housed at the Asa Wright Nature Centre showcased models of threatened animals, posters and charts on endangered flora and fauna and an array of brochures, booklets and information sheets for visitors.
