The Department of the Environment (SEAM) of Paraguay prepared a press release to commemorate the International Day for Biological Diversity. The press release gives an overview of biodiversity and its importance, as well as the interlinkages with climate change. It also includes a statement from the Director of Biodiversity Protection and Conservation of SEAM, Dario Mandelburguer, that touches on how the effects of climate change on the country’s biodiversity will have an impact on the lives of its people.
