Cook Islands

The Cook Islands celebrated the International Day for Biological Diversity through the release of a newspaper article in the Cook Islands News. Part of the celebrations also included the launch of a half-hour documentary on Cook Islands TV focused on the biodiversity of the Cook Islands. The documentary focuses on protected areas, access and benefit sharing and invasive species. This documentary was followed by local advertisements on climate change. These activities were produced jointly by the NCSA project and Climate Change 2nd National Communication Project under the National Environmental Service.
