Sixth National Report

As of 22 November 2019, the "BIP Dashboard" has been enhanced with 4 new indicators and data updates to two existing indicators. The BIP Dashboard now serves a total of 15 indicators providing at least one indicator for tracking progress on Aichi Biodiversity Targets 1, 4, 5, 10, 11, 12, 13, 15 and 19. All indicators can be flexibly visualized at global, regional and national scales. Both the visualizations (in graph and map form) and the data behind the indicators can be downloaded for inclusion as evidence-based indicators for reporting on national target progress in National Reports. The BIP Dashboard, originally launched in November 2018, was developed through collaboration between UNEP-WCMC, as the BIP secretariat, and NatureServe, and provides improved visualisation and exploration of BIP Partners' indicators. It also features spatial information at multiple scales with downloadable graphs of trend data. The BIP Dashboard can support the development of the sixth national report.

The "UNBiodiversity Lab" launched at SBSTTA-22 consists of an online platform which allows policymakers and other partners to access global data layers, upload and manipulate their own datasets, and query multiple datasets to provide key information on the Aichi Biodiversity Targets and nature-based Sustainable Development Goals. The UNBiodiversity Lab can support the development of the sixth national report.
