REC, MoEFWA & GIZ, 22-24 May 2013, Shkodra and Pogradec
The CSBL Project of GIZ (German Society for International Cooperation) in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Water Administration (MoEFWA) and the Regional Environmental Center (REC) Albania celebrate the International Day for Biological Diversity 2013.
The three-day event on 22-23-24 May encompasses exhibitions, theatre plays and interactive actions taking place at the lake shores and public places. Together with the Film Festival in the evening, the event offers exciting information, inspiration and surprises regarding biodiversity and environmental protection in Albania and beyond. The goal of these activities is to raise awareness about the biodiversity of Lakes Ohrid and Shkodra and to encourage joint action for the conservation and sustainable use of this precious resource.
