  MFF Bangladesh outreach celebrates International Day for Biodiversity with children
The magical world of deep sea creatures, large and small, captured the imagination the students of Jaago Foundation as they celebrated International Day for Biological Diversity 2012 with the MFF Bangladesh outreach team in Dhaka. These children expressed their love for marine and coastal biodiversity through beautiful paintings.

In Phoolpur of Mymensingh, a fair has been held in the international biological diversity day on 22nd May 2012. Many nature friendly creatures and bio-crops with agricultural tools were exhibited there. Moreover, there was entertainment for farmers.

Forest Department of Bangladesh, 22 May 2012, Agargaon, Dhaka
The Forest Department of Bangladesh celebrated IDB2012 in the Forestry Head Office, Chief Conservator of Forests gave a keynote presentation on Marine Biodiversity, and Md Tariqul Islam also presented on the Importance of Marine Protected Areas (MPAs). All Officials from the capital attended the event. IDB has been celebrated in different localities of Bangladesh.
